H1b Transfer to New emplyer

My H1B and I-94 expired on Aug 30th 2010 and my current H1-B holder company filed my extension on Aug 18th 2010 in normal processing at Vermont Centre because they are in NJ and I am working in CA. I can work upto 26th Apr 2011 (240 days from Aug 30th 2010). Now, I have found another job and my new employer is filing the H1-B transfer as Premium processing and I am assuming that my Visa will be transferred in next 15 days to new Employer. Please let me know My legal status in US in both the following cases -
CASE I- After my Visa is transferred to new employer then my 1st employer’s Visa extension is Rejected or RFE comes
CASE II- During the transfer time of H1B with the new Employer if my 1st H1-B extension is Rejected but I will be already having 2nd H1B extension receipt number.
