H1B Visa Stamping
Hi, I had a traffic collision in 2007 in CA. I was cited later with count 1(section 21950(a): failure to yield to pedestrians, an Infraction). I attended the court, pleaded guilty, paid fine&attended 8 hrs of traffic school. After these the ticket got dismissed. Now, I need to go for my H1 visa stamping, I am not sure what would be my answer for the following question on the DS-160 form: "Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty, or other similar actions?"
1. Can I just say “no” as it is a minor infraction and ticket was already dismissed.
2. If I have to answer “yes”, would it delay my stamping for further verification and what are the documents I need to carry for faster processing?
Thank you for your help.
