Q.

PERM Processing in EB2 or EB3

My employer is in Virginia and I am trying to apply GC through my employer. I am eligible to EB2 ( I have 4 years bachelores degree in and 5+ years of Experience). I am getting $70K per Year. my employer is saying below reason:

If we file in EB 2 (BS+5 Yrs of experience) the prevailing wage would be in the $95-115K range and you will have more queries.Hence can we lower your experience and file it in EB3?

Please suggest me whether above reason is valid or not. If valid what are the other way's to apply in EB2 category?
