Q.

H1B fees

My employer has about 6-7 people in his payroll.
When I transfered H1 initially to my employer,I was mentioned that USCIS charges $750 as Academic training fees. We paid the same.

2 years later, while applying for H1 extension, my attorney paid the training
fees($750) again to USCIS.

Is this valid ?
Is'nt this a one time fee only. Please clarify.
