Immigration Status
Hi,
I was a student of Tri Valley University from May 2010 till Jan 2011. The university is now closed by ICE under fraud allegations effective 1/20/2011. My H1b application was filed by my employer during Oct 2010 and I received my approval notice (I-797A) valid from 1/15/2011 through 1/14/2014.
I believe my status has changed from F1 to H1B. Still is there anything I need to be concerned about since I was affiliated with this university.
Am I good regarding my status? Please advice.
