Q.

H-1B transfer possible?

Worked in technical position by H-1B at Company A. They sponsored a greencard for me (EB3-India). I-485 has been pending since July 2007. PD-June 2004.

Co. A promoted me to management -June 2010; wanted me to use my EAD to work. They planned to revoke my H-1B (valid from 2009-2012).

Co. B offered me another management position recently. Learning that Company A had revoked my H-1B, they filed another H-1B for me and wanted me to go to Canada and get my new H-1B stamped before reporting to work. This new H-1B was approved earlier this week.

Now, Company A told me that they did not revoke my H-1B.

Is it too late for me to transfer the H-1B (avoid Canada trip)? Any risk that my I-485 would be denied when I go to Canada and secure my H-1B? How does this impact my spouse (AOS)?
