H1 B Payroll Issue

I have transferred my H1B from Company A to Company B. Company B Start Date :November 15 2010. The problem here is as I did not inform my old company(Company A) that I have transferred (I did not submit my resignation yet and that's why he did not revoke my H1B till now), both the companies have run my payroll for the months of November and December 2010.

1. Am I violating any H1B rule?.
2. Can my old employer(Company A) harm me in any way?
3. Will it affect me in any way in future? If yes what is the solution

Please advice.
