H1b 30/6 0 day rule
I got a cap exempt H1b COS from F-1 in October 2010. I previously came to US under F-1 visa and never had any unauthorized work. The effective date of H1b was Oct1 and the start of work date was Oct 3. I needed a drivers license for the work and failure to get that timely meant my employer did not allow me to start working and i wasnt paid. all of a sudden, my employer asks me to join him on Dec 6 2010 and i joined him. I will receive my first paycheck on DEC. 14. Then one of my friends told me if a H1b beneficiary is in US, he has 60 days to get paid. I am past that 60 day period (67 days right now and 72 when I will get my first paycheck). I wanted to ask,
1) Am I violating the H1b status and whether I should keep working or stop working?
2) Will my H1b be terminated by CIS?
