Q.

After 6 years of H1B to F2 and then to H1B

My 6 years of H1B has been completed on September 30, 2010. Prior to Completion of my H1B, My wife who was on H4 applied for change of status (I-539) to F1 and F2 for me and for our children. We have received F1 and F2 approval notices on 14-November-2010 with the I-94 start date as 02-December-2010.
Being in US, can I Change my status from F2 to H1B, by finding an employer
Do i have to stay out of US for 1 year even though I am applying for H1 from F2 . Can I just wait here in US for that 1 year
If I have to wait for 1 year, can I travel in-out of US during that one year? Is that still considered for 1year requirement to reapply for H1B
What is the maximum length of time that I can stay out of US being on F2?
Can I work(remote) for a foreign company being in US. or its clients inUS
