Hi,

My employment was terminated with my company on 9/18/2010. I will continue to be payed severance (including compensation) until 12/18. I was on on a H1B visa.

My wife is currently pursuing her PhD and is on an F1 visa. I would like to know the process for transferring to an F2 visa and later back to H1.

I am alo considering pursuing a PhD. I'd like to know the process for moving from F2 to F1 visa as well.

Also how much time do I have to identify my next job. When should the change of status be filed latest?
