Q.

H1 visa or F1 visa

HI,
I did my MS in USA and graduated in Mar-09, I worked for a company on OPT(OPT is valid till Nov-2011) which sponsored me H1(applied in Masters quota). My H1 started in Oct-2010, valid till Apr-2012. For a family emergency I came here to India on Oct-22-10 and waiting here in India for H1 stamping.

If by any chance, my H1 visa is rejected, can I still come on F1, as my F1 visa is valid till June-2011 and OPT is valid till Nov-2011?

Also, please clarify if OPT will automatically get canceled on H1 start date.

Thanks
