Q.

I-94 expired

I got two I797s as I transferred my H1B. While I was going to India in 2008 I dropped my I 94 of I 797 at counter of new I 797. While comming back to USA, I got my new I94 in Passport up to visa validity date. Now it is expired. I dint see that. But my I 797 is valid up to Sep 2011.My friends advised me to go to CBO office to correct my I94 validity date. Am I going to face any problems with them? Can my I 94 be corrected or extended or do I need to leave the country? Please help me by answering.
