H1B Transfer before stamping
Hi
I graduated from US university in January and then started working in a company since then. They applied my H1B and I got the approval but have not gone for stamping to India yet. The OPT is valid till Jan 2010 and H1b starts on Oct 1, 2010.
Now, the company is laying off lot of employees for cost cutting and I want to change my employer. My question is can I transfer my H1-B to another employer prior to getting H1-B stamped for my current employer while staying in US.
