Below is a brief summary of my legal status record:

-I had my first MS Degree in Civil engineering (in Dec'05).
-I was on my OPT until Nov'06.
-I was on H1B from Nov'06-Nov'09 (Nov.30'2009 is the last day I was on payroll with my previous employer).
-Currently, I am on F-1 Status with a Univ. on a NEW SEVIS I-20 record since Dec'09-till date (pursuing MS Computer Science).

Q-1: I was advised by the University Student services that, as I am on a new SEVIS I will be eligible to apply for a OPT again. Please let me know if this is TRUE.

Q-2: Will I be eligible for a 6yr. period when I reapply for a new H-1B,If, I am out of H-1B status for a year in U.S. (i.e.,F-1 Status: Dec'09-Nov.30'10)?. Please advise.
