Q.

Change of status from H4 to F1 & spouse's green card processing

My spouse's labor certification is completed and he is in the process of applying for I-140. I want to change my status from H4 to F1 for getting assistantship and OPT when I will pursue MS.I know that I can study with H4 ,but I cant afford MS without assistantships.I heard that I may not be able to get F1 stamped while my spouse is processing green card.

Could you please advice me on how to get F1 stamped ?
