H1 B EXPIRED ,RENEWAL APPLIED BUT HAVENOT GOT RCPT NOTICE
my husband's H1b is expiring tomorrow. His company filed for extension on premium processing but we haven't yet got any receipt notice(8 days past).
his I-485 is pending . His EAD has also expired but he has filed for EAD extension which might take another 3 months to get approved. In this situation Is it legal for him to stay/work in US ?
added info : he never used his EAD & is on h1b visa
what should we do now?
