Q.

h1b transfer while extension is in pending

I94 expires on 10/15/10.6th year h1b Extension filed in 08/10,premium process using I-140 approval. i.got the RFE,attorney answered on 9/3/10,waiting on response.
I asked another company to start the H1B transfer,going to file in normal process on 9-10-10.
I have labor approval from this company.
Filed for I-140 petition 3 weeks ago.
transfer going to file using my current company I-140 approval.To get h1b for the 3 years.
1.if I get denial notice beofe or after 10/15/10 for the current pending extension petition.
Should I leave USA or Can I stay in the USA start work for another company with h1b transfer receipt.
2.Is that legal to start transfer and extension both at same time
3.Is there any effect on Immigration decision on h1b extension or transfer since both started parallel
