I'm on H1B. I work full time for a firm in the east coast. I live in the CA and mostly work remote. I take trips to East coast on and off (once in 3/4 months). My pay stubs, tax returns etc are CA based.

I have first H1 approval(and I94) till March next year however my visa expired. I'm travelling to India this December. I would need a visa renewal.

Will my remote work be a problem for Visa renewal or H1B extension?

Can I renew my visa in Mexico/Canada? If so, is it easy in Mexico/Canada than in India.
