Follow up: H1B Admin process 221(g) impacted B1

Hi,
This is the follow of the thread " H1B Admin process 221(g) impacted B1".

Recently i learned from my empl that my H1 petition is valid only from 11/03/2006 to 10/01/2009. That is what i see in the scanned copy of I129. So he said my H1B is automatically canceled.

But the status for my petition in USCIS site says that "On Feb 10, 2009 a reaffirmed petition has been sent" to...

I am not sure what it means to have a H1B reaffirmed after the I129 expiry date.

1. Does the reaffirmation after expiry mean i can still take the H1B. Or H1B petition is null and void now.
2. when i go for the B1 interview again should i say my H1B is re-approved/expired/rejected.
3. Is there a way to ask USCIS to close this H1B status. If so, should i go through my emply or i can do it myself-how?
