I graduated with my MS in Dec-08 and was on OPT till Aug-09.My employer filed for H1B. I chose to return to F1 after problems with employers and the Change of Status [CoS] was denied.

I don't know [or can know] the receipt no. nor H1B app status. The univ adviser told me about the CoS [and F1 status for Fall 09]

I am out of the school [no additional OPT]. My new employer wants to file my H1B. The form asks about previous H1B application information [on a separate sheet of paper]. I don't know details of the prev appl.

1>Is CoS denial the same as H1B denial?
2>What details should be mentioned?
3>Can I not mention anything about previous application since it is a new one and not a re-application of the previous?
4>Any details or advice I should keep in mind?
