Q.

L1 to H1 Question

I am working for XYZ company on L1 since april 2007. My L1 was about to expire in Dec 2009, and corresponding I94 expiry was Feb 2010, so company XYZ applied for L1 extension. Meanwhile I applied for H1 through consultant ABC in the month of November 2009 and got my H1 approved in april 2010.L1 extension from company XYZ got approved in Dec 16 2009, I went to India for L1 visa restamping in Jan 2010 and came back on L1 in the month of Feb 2010.So I have a new L1 valid till Dec 2011 and when my approved H1 (from ABC concultant)came it is valid till Sept 2012 and I am still working for XYZ company on L1.Now there is a different company PQR who wants to process a different H1 altogether and hire me as a full time employee. Q's
1. Is it OK to get a new H1?
2. Am I out of status from Apr2010
