Q.

H1B status and Short Term Disability (STD)

I am working on H1B with office in CA but residence in AZ. I have injured my back (non-work related) and my doc says I need to go on STD provided by my employer for a period of 11 weeks.
(1) Does this in any way affect my legal H1B status?
(2) My husband's EB2 PD will be current in a few months. He will add me as a dependent on his I-485 application at that point (I am not on the original application as we weren't married then). Will STD affect my application for greencard through my husband in any way?
