H1 Transfer RFE

Need to remain on H1 since wife is on H4 and not added to GC App.
Been with company A(Tier 1 Indian Company) for more than 10 years. Recently decided to join company B(Tier 1 Indian Company). Company B filed for the H1 transfer and extension under premium process and recieved the reciept notice(Aug 8th 2010).
Based on the reciept notice I put in my notice at current company.
USCIS has issued an RFE on the H1 transfer. Have not recieved the details of the RFE yet.
Is it safe to join company B while the RFE is still in progress? What would you advice?
