Q.

H1B Year count/validity

Q-1: My H1B status started on Nov.14'06 and ended Nov.30 '09. I am on F-1 status since Dec'09 (till date). Will my current F-1 status count towards the 6-yr period for H-1B, which will make my H1B end in Nov.'2012? Or Will the remaining 3-yr period for my H-1B start from the date I come back/apply a new H-1B?.

Q-2: I have enrolled with a new school for my second Master's degree in Dec'09.
The student services at the univ. I am currently enrolled with, advised me that I will be eligible for 2yr. OPT after graduation(as I am on a new SEVIS record). Is this TRUE?
