H4 to H1, while H1B stamping got 221g

Hi,
I am on H4 in U.S.A.But I already have H1B petion which is valid upto sep 2011.In September 2009,I attended for H1B Stamping.but got 221g.Due to personal reasons,I came back to u.S.A on H4.I got a mail from consulate to submit my passport in Feb 2010.I think I have time upto sep 2010.So I stayed in U.S.A and trying for job.
My question is,If I don't get any job before September 2010.Is there any problem in future in changing the visa from H4 to H1?
What I mean is If I get any Job after sept 2010,is there any possibility to get an rfe regarding old H1b stamping while changing status?
Please explain me.
