Q.

H4 to H1

Hello, I was on H4 from Jan 2008 (which is valid till 2010 Oct) and got my H1 apporoved in 2009 quota. But could not find any job and neither had any paystubs. So I went back to home country in Jan 2010 and reenterd using my valid H4 visa. My current I94 says H4. Now, I am offered a job to start on July 12 of 2010. What do I need to do for being eligible to work again? If Change of Status filing is needed, would that be a new H1 application, or can I re-use my old H1 (valid till 2011 Oct)? How long does it take and would filing in Premium be beneficial?
Thanks much for your help!
N Iqbal.
