Q.

How to work legally for my own company?

On H1B (2 yrs to expire). GreenCard filed in EB2. I140 approved. I485 pending. Priority May 2007. Have EAD. Spouse on H1B. Dependant on my GreenCard. Has EAD.

Want to quit day job & start my company. My company domain is not same as my H1B/GreenCard job profile domain. Ready to quit GreenCard process. Spouse’s employer is ready to file GreenCard so I can be dependent on that new application.

Can I transfer my H1B to my company? What are the requirements? Can my new job be profile different?

Or can I quit the job and work on EAD for my company legally until it expires? (Till my EAD expires, I can raise capital & eventually sponsor my H1B).

Or can I switch to H4 visa and raise capital for my company (will not be officially incorporated) & then sponsor my H1B.
