Q.

H1 to H4 transfer

Hi,
I am right now on H1b which is valid till july 15th 2010. I have applied to an extension on April 8th 2010 , but yet to get approval.

I am planning to move from h1b to h4 status immediately. Can I do that? I have read that i need to apply for change of status for this.

But given that I am yet to get approval for my extension, will I be out of status if I apply for Change of status now?

Will there be any premium processing for change of status?

After the apply for change of status can I apply for h1b again through another employer?(before I get a new I-94 for change of status?)
