Hi,

Current Visa: F-1 on OPT (expires on Jan 31st 2011)
Current employer has filed for H1 visa. I got an email from my attorney that the H1 is selected under the Masters cap (for 2010) but still waiting for a RFE to be cleared (which according to my attorney is a mistake from USCIS and they will be correcting it).

I have basically 2 questions:
1. If my H1 gets approved, can I switch jobs to an another company before October 1st 2010 ? Will the new employer need to file for a new H1 or can the H1 be transferred before October ?
2. If in case I cannot switch companies before October, when can I change the company such that there is a H1 transfer with the new employer ?
