i am on h1b and since december 2009, i have been on voluntary leave of absence for maternity reasons. My baby was born end of january 2010.

I have an approved/signed letter from my employer stating leave of absence was granted. During these past 6 months i have not received any pay stubs. I have started working again this month (june 2010) through the same employer and will be getting paid this month onwards.

Can you please clarify if this length of leave of absence is permitted on H-1b? Will this likely cause any issues during green card processing (currently gc process is on my husbands name and we have I-140 approved, I-485 yet to apply ).
