US re-entry from Canada- Less than 30 days.
Hi,
I am currently on H1B status. My status is valid but the visa has expired. I want to go to Canada for permanent residency and come back within the 30 day time frame. I want to confirm that i will be granted the "automatic extention of Validity" and will be allowed to re-enter. Does being from Pakistan would have an effect on my situation, even though it is not on the "state sponsors of Terrorism" list?
Is there U.S Govt number that i could call to confirm this?
