B2 extension denied and want to apply for H1B

Hi, I entered the US September 1st 2009 with my family, got 6 months of stay and filed an extension for 6 more months that got denied 2 days ago June 8th 2010. I have not violated my visitor status before the denial, but my status is overstay now. Now I have a job offer, so these are my questions:

(A) can I apply for H1B visa and wait for a decision while overstaying here?

Or (B) should I return to my home country to apply for H1B and wait there?

(C) If H1B is granted while in my home country, does the overstay affect me when going to the US Embassy to stamp the visa and get my H1B denied?
