Q.

H1->F1

Current status- I am now in F1-OPT (MS in US Univ -Master's degree OPT) working for an Employer. Employer filed for H1B on April 2010 for Master's Degree Quota. Yet to be approved.
Assumption- H1B gets approved.
Future- Got PhD admit for Fall 2010
Query-
1. If I join for my PhD by quitting my current employer by August, 2010 do I need to do anything special to get to the new school in terms of F1-VISA given that my H1B got approved? What will happen on October 1, 2010? Which status will I be?
2. After joining PhD, if I drop out of Univ. and want to start working in some company, can my new employer reuse my H1B (The H1B that was filed on April 1, 2010 )? If it can be reused, will the 'web' approval notice itself would suffice or original H1B approval notice in paper 4m USCIS needed?
