I am working for Company A and the I-797 is valid until October 2011. I have valid VISA stamping with Company A until Oct, 2011. However I have accepted another job offer from a University and my H1B transfer from Company A to the University is in Progress.The University is applying for a transfer and extension from July 2010 until July 2012.

Before I leave Company A, I need to be out of country on work related to Company A.The plan is to join the University 2 weeks after I come back from my overseas trip. If my I-797 at the university is not approved before I leave the country, will it be an issue.
