H1 Transfer - change of employment

Hi,

I'm in my 6th year of H1b and have 140 approved.

As of now I'm working as a fulltime employee with reputed company. I got a offer from another company, prime vendor to a big finance.

I would like to join this company as I intend to go back to finance. I have few questions regarding H1 transfer:

1. If my h1 transfer is denied, will my current H1 still be valid and can I continue working with current employer w/o any issues?

2. If H1 transfer comes in, does that mean my current H1 is no longer valid and I should join the new petitioner immediately?

3. Can I still continue working with my current employer after the H1 transfer to new employer and never join the new employer? In this case, do I need to go out of USA and get my current employer's H1 stamped again?
