Work for new employer after getting H1B receipt via email
After applying for H1B transfer (either premium or regular processing), I believe the lawyer gets a receipt notice via email. The receipt notice has the case number for the petition. Can I start working for the new employer on that basis of that receipt number itself. I don't yet have the receipt notice in my hand. All I have is an email from the lawyer specifying my receipt number(case number) for the petition filed.
Please advise.
