New H1B application by 2 employers

I am currently working on CPT and have OPT approved starting June 1. My current employer has filed for my H1B which is not yet approved (applied on April 1st and pending yet). I have another offer and the new employer is willing to file new H1B. Is this allowed without any issue or one needs to wait for applied H1B to be approved and then transfered. In case the second employer can file for new H1B then what happens to the first employer's application.
