Q.

I94 expired,H1b in appeal,want to travel

My husband is on H1-B here. Myself and two kids are on H-4. Our I-94 expired in September 2009. Husband's H1-B renewal got denied in February 2010 and currently it is under appeal with AAO. I want to travel to India with kids in June 2010 (after school year-end)while my husband has decided to stay back till the outcome of appeal.

What documents/forms do I need to fill/carry with me as I travel out of US to India? If the appeal has a positive outcome, can we come back?

We are running very low on finances and cannot afford to see attorney now.
