Q.

H1 to H4 and H4 to H1

Hi my Wife was on H1 and now we have applied for a H4 and we also got our approval notice from USCIS yesterday. So technically i think she is in H4 . But now she wants to go back and work for the same employer in the same position. Her Employer havent yet revoked her H1.

By the way Her H1 I94 is longer than H4 if that matters.

What are best options to get back to H1 ? I heard different things from different lawyers.

we live in san diego so we go to mexico and reenter on H1B that her employer is holding,I am not sure what to do at this point but she wants to start working immediately.
