1.1st term of H1 valid till 26 Sep 2010. Wife on H4 same validity.Wife’s H1 is under process, applied Apr10.I am wking with empler A, am planning to apply for H1 ext this may.Expecting offer from empler B in May/Jun

1.Time ext or/and trsfer appvl takes?
2.What if I get offer from B while my ext. under process. Can B start my trsfer process?
3.Do I need to cancl my ext. with A b4 applying for trsfer to B and let B apply for ext.? Or shud I let my ext. and trsfer (thru 2 different employers) happen parallel
4.Is wife’s H4 ext. independent of my H1 ext. meaning, if I need to cancel my H1 ext. application thru A, does the ext. app. of wife’s H4 get affected
5.Does it have any impact on wife H1? I was told that she MUST get her H4 ext. before 26 Sep and then convert to H1 on Oct 1
