Q.

applied for H1 to H4 but now i want to apply to F1

Hi,
I have applied for change of status from H1 to H4 last month as i have to move to live with my husband.I have received the H4 receipt from USCIS. My employer still holds my H1. Now i have got a project where i can work from home.My question here is that is my H1 still valid and can i go ahead and withdraw my application for change of status to H4? Please let me know what are the possible ways for me to work with my employer again?
