Q.

H1 validity after wife uses AP to enter US

Hello,

Question: If my wife enters US on Advance Parole does that mean I will not be able to renew my H1 status after it expires.And I would have to start using Employment Authorization Document to work?

Background: Currently I am on H1 and my wife is on H4 status and we have pending Adjustment of Status cases (I485). I came to the US on F1 status and my wife on F2. We never traveled out side of US after coming here. Our passports only have expired F1/F2 visas.
