Q.

Enter with Old Employer Visa and New Employer I797

Hi,

I have a Valid Visa from Employer A till May 2012. I moved to a new Employer B in Feb 2010 and I got my H1 Aprroved till Jan 2013. I am currently working for Employer B.

I am planning to Visit India in May for marriage.

Can i come back to USA(New Jersey) with my Old Employer Visa and New I797. I think i should show the POE officer the new I797 and get I94 with that new I797. Am i right?

I heard that many have done this before, but since H1 rules are more strict now, i wanted to confirm if i can come back with old employer visa.

Thanks
