H1B extension approval issue
Hello,
I got my H1B extension done and seeing issues with that. My old I797 is valid till June 2nd 2010 . When I went out of country and came back I got an I-94 card issued at port of entry which is valid till June 12th 2010.
Now my H1B extension has been approved and my current I797 has a date valid from June 13th 2010.
My Question:
From June 3rd to June 11th (10 days) , can I be working and can my payroll be run (i.e. is my work status legal for those 10 days)?
Please let me know.
