I entered USA on L1 frm CO. A. Ialso had a H1b stamped frm CO B. But I entered US on L1 as H1 market was down.My I -94 was of L1 valid till 13th Feb 2010.CO A applied for L1 extension and it got denied on Feb 26 (pls note my I94 was already expired).CO. A asked me to leave USA within 10 days i.e.b4 03/08/2010.I decided to ask company B (for which i had visa stamped till Oct 10). my bad luck CO. B was bought by CO. C but they said legally i can join them with new I 94 but i have to leave and re-nter. I went to mexico border for re-entry and got new I94 on 4th March.Now i am working for C (I797 is of company B which was taken over by C). If i decide to do H1 transfer in future will there be an issue?
