Q.

H-1 to F1 to H1

Dear Mr. Mayock, I have a couple of questions:
1) I am waiting for a decision from USCIS regarding a change of status case (I-539 form) that was thrice denied because I didn't have previous pay-stubs from my employer whose company went out of business. I just filed a motion (I-290B form) along-with an assurance letter from employer that he will pay my dues once funded by investors. In current situation (change of status case under process, no pay-stubs but a letter from employer promising to pay soon), can another company hire me by sponsoring with an H-1 transfer?

2)Another question is that once someone applies for asylum, is it true that he can never visit his home country even after getting approved for asylum? Can someone ever visit his home country once approved for asylum?
