Hi,

I had a H1 with my employer which was valid till 10/2010. I decided to quit my job in january and on the last week of employment(1/28/2010) my employer filed for Change of Status to H4 as my spouse also works for the same employer on H1. Now my H1 to H4(COS) is in pending state.

Now i found a new employer who wants to hire me. Will he have to do a H1 transfer/file a H1 petition(non-cap)/COS H4-H1, so that i can work with the new employer on H1. Am i on H1 or H4 till the COS is pending? Also what happens to my H1, after i am on H4. Does it get cancelled or revoked etc?
