1)I am on L1 in US and it is valid till 2011 and I have filed for green card . In 2009 my employeer filed H1 counsoler processing.I want to be on L1 status so that my wife can work with L2 ead. I have still not moved to h1 status. How long h1 status is valid if not moved to H1 status.

3) In case I have to go for H1 status without getting stamping from india, Can I opt for status change here for H1 filed in 2009. If yes what is the cost for change of status to H1?

2) My wife's company does not want to file H1. Can any one file h1 for her without consent of present employer?
