Q.

out of status

Last year I got acceptence for H1(for 1yr)and OPT ext also approved.
Went India Sep09 back on Nov-14-2009 on F1(I was under an impression that because I was out of USA my COS is canceled and I am back into F1).

But recently came to know from uni DSO that my sevis completed because of H1 acceptence.(If that is the case, how come its not noticed in POE. Immigration officer noted the point that I am in OPT)

Employer says to file COS and H1 ext to get back into status, he just applied LC
Does filing COS or COS+H1 ext brings me back into status without going out of country.

Last time my H1 was approved for 1 year, so can I go ahead to file my extension along with COS in Premium Processing ?
