Q.

Part-time Job while on H1B

Hi,
I am currently in H1B working for my employer full-time. I am planning to start a part-time business in my spare time. The income through the part-time business will be a 1099MISC.

Is it legal to have a part-time business on the side while on full-time H1B?

Can I file my income & expenses through my part-time business and get tax benefits?

Will this lead to any RFE at the time of Green Card processing?
